Beloved Haiti

Thank you for following along on my journey to Haiti with the Vi Bella Jewelry team.  In case you missed the posts and videos we created along the way, here are the links:

Coming back home is bittersweet and a piece of my heart remains with the people in Haiti.

I am pondering so very much in my heart.

A few things I want you to know:

The jobs we are providing with this jewelry company SAVE lives and keep children with their families.

(Did you know that the orphanages in Haiti are FULL of children whose parents can’t feed them?  They see these orphanages as the only option for food and shelter for their children. Many walk miles to visit their children when they can.  It is an unfathomable choice).

So many have asked me upon my return what can be done.  HERE is what you can do:

Pray for our artisans and their families, and our Vi Bella team members who work in the day-to-day operations in Haiti, Mexico, and in our home office in Iowa.  The challenges and resistance to our work is great and staggering some days.

Buy from Vi Bella Jewelry.  You have a choice in how you spend your money and you truly do make lives beautiful through your purchases.  Every dollar insures we can pay our artisans a fair daily wage and send their children to school.  Sales increase our hope of hiring even more people who are in extreme poverty.

Host a gathering online or in your community.  It’s so easy and the jewelry is beautiful.  We can provide you with everything you need to share the mission and beautiful jewelry with your friends. (email me directly if you’d like:  amy.breitmann@vibellajewelry.com)

Thank you, friends.  I will be sharing more stories from Haiti soon…

P.S. We are working hard to launch the “Beloved” blue jean line of jewelry this fall, and because you are my favorites~ I’ve included a few sneak peeks here!:

You can be sure that there were many tears as I watched redemption right in front of me as our artisans worked on these pieces.

I can’t wait to link arms with you.  We really can change the world for our brothers and sisters in Christ, one little decision and action at a time.

Blessings,

Blue Jean Girl
