These are a Few of My Favorite Things (1/2)

““““““““““
I find myself sharing my favorite things over and over with friends near and far, so I’m just going to compile some of them here.  I’ll do 3 categories, and then be done with it.  (Ok, probably not~ because : A. I’m a bit obsessive when I find things and talent that I adore. and :B. This is not an exhaustive list by any stretch.  Cut me some grace, it’s Christmas.)

I  mean, there are fleece-lined tights that I didn’t have room for, Deidra. Thank  goodness you’ve got that corner covered.  It takes a village.

So here’s a Blue Jean Girl’s  post 1 of 3  sharing things that warm my heart.  If you’re hunting around for a Christmas gift, music from one of these creative folks that are using their talent for HIM can go on the top of your list.

It will stir your soul and you’ll be addicted to their music.  You’re welcome.
Now go share:  I know you are not done Christmas shopping. . .

I met Christopher Williams and Drew and Ellie Holcomb a few weeks ago at The High Calling Retreat at Laity Lodge. All 3 are singers, musicians and songwriters from Nashville.

They poured out gifts of music and stories from their hearts and I am still mesmerized.
You MUST meet them too. Their faith and truth shine through in all that they do. Such talent, such hearts. Here’s a couple minutes to help you fall in love with them like I have…

“Carry me to a gate called beautiful
Let the doors swing open wide. . .
You might see me as a broken vessel, but to this body I am not tied.”

Thank Sandra Heska King for the video.

Find the music of Christopher Williams HERE.
His  Christmas  cd is on “repeat” around at my house.
Simply cannot get enough of the soulful praise, especially this ONE:

And then, these two: Drew and Ellie Holcomb. Scripture put to words in every song:

Thanks David Rupert for this video

And when they sang this one?
This is what marriage looks like: We know each other, and there are always dirty dishes in the kitchen sink, yes?

Do you see now why I can’t stop mentioning them? Go get some music.
It’ll feed your soul.
